Just like January & February, Brisbane Commercial Property in March has continued to see a large amount of transactions. I can officially confirm we aren’t just witnessing a spike but improved conditions throughout the commercial industrial sector across Brisbane’s south side. My colleagues on the north side have also recorded a strong first quarter.
My commercial agency team had a cracking start to the month with winning The Real Estate Institute of Queensland’s 2011 commercial agency of the year award (Raine & Horne Commercial Brisbane Southside), putting it in the running for the 2012 Real Estate Institute of Australia’s national awards for excellence to be held in Darwin during March.
January is always a good time to reflect on the previous year and predict what you think will happen with the Brisbane Commercial Property market in the coming year. The property dooms day predictions have been proven wrong when looking back on a rollercoaster 2011. Predictions of a 60-90% drop in value were completely out of whack. Brisbane had a slide of just over 8%, an excellent result considering the initial fear in the market.
